Vivreau Launch Environmental ‘Foot Soldiers’

Advanced water systems specialists, Vivreau, has introduced a group of ‘foot soldiers’ to their Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) team. The group of five engineers, who are all based within the M25, will either walk, or travel by tube and bus between appointments to carry out filter changes and to service Vivreau systems on site. It is estimated that they will save approximately 36,400kg of CO2 emissions by taking public transport, in comparison to if they drove the estimated 25,000 miles every year.

Managing Director of Vivreau, Stephen Charles comments:

“The very nature of what we do is to help organisations have a positive beneficial impact on the environment, so we are constantly looking at new ways in which Vivreau itself can do the same. Having our engineers use public transport is a significant step forward and reinforces the benefits of partnering with Vivreau. It is yet another reason that our clients can be assured that the impact of their water provision on the environment, is minimal.”

Vivreau installs Table Water Bottling Systems and water purification dispense systems into a range of establishments from hotels and restaurants through to business and industry. In doing so they help to reduce the plastic packaging and global transportation of unnecessary water from around the globe.

A Vivreau system is plumbed in through the mains and gives a constant supply of filtered, chilled sparkling, still and boiling water which can be served in re-usable glass bottles.
